Our Foneso Ultrathin 7 Tablet Review goes over all of the most important features of a tablet. The following is our opinion when it comes to the Ultrathin specs.

Foneso Ultrathin 7 Tablet Features

The Foneso has a Dual Core A23 1.5 GHz processor. This is considerably faster than most processors at this price, however it was reported by a customer that their tablet had a tendency to freeze up on them. Others have said that they are happy with the performance.

If you are looking for a tablet with a high resolution, the Foneso may not be for you. As with many low cost tablets, the graphics quality is on the lower end of the spectrum. However, according to some reviews, it is sufficient to play video games and even have Skype conversations.

The Foneso Ultrathin 7 inch tablet comes with 4GB of built in storage. This is usually sufficient for most people, but if you need a lot of storage space, the Foneso gives the option to insert a microSD card to expand to 32GB of storage. If you want a low cost tablet with more built in storage, check out our Pyle Astro 10.1 Review.

The average battery life on this tablet is 4 hours. This is rather short but pretty standard for a tablet of this price. However, for many uses such as listening to music, the battery life will actually be longer than 4 hours. If you are looking for a low cost tablet that has a long battery, we suggest that you take a look at our Neutab N7 Review.

The weight on this tablet is a very light 1 pound. This blows many tablets out of the water, as the average 7 inch tablet weighs around 1.5 pounds!

The Foneso runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which is a relatively new version of this popular interface. As with many tablets, the Android operating system on this tablet has not been altered very much, so if you are used to Android on other devices, then this one will feel natural.

Upon opening the package, you will find that the Google Play app store is already installed. Most apps available on Google Play are compatible with Android 4.2, so there are no issues there. You can also install Skype!

The Verdict

The Foneso Ultrathin 7 Inch tablet has decent hardware for a $47 tablet. Although we have only given it a 3.5/5, we feel that for a cost this low, you will get good value out of it. Many users report a positive experience with this tablet.

If you are interested in other low cost tablets, we suggest that you see our Neutab N7 Review.. It costs just under $100, but is more powerful and have better specs.
