Chromo Inc 7 Tablet Review

The Chromo Inc 7 Inch tablet is made for the entire family. It is a low cost tablet at only $50 on Amazon, so it has lower specs than most others. But as with most tablets of this price range, you will find that there are people who love it, and others who hate it. If you are used to higher end tablets, such as the iPad Mini, or the Kindle Fire, this one may be less charming. But if this is your first tablet, or you are buying it for your kids, it may suit you just fine.

Before you purchase any tablet, it is always wise to do your due diligence and really look at what is offered. The specs mentioned below are the most important for the smooth running of your tablet and your own personal enjoyment.

  • Extremely light
  • Rubber protective corners
  • Full access to Google Play
  • Very low cost

  • Reports of sluggishness
  • Low resolution
  • Short battery life

Our Chromo Inc. 7 Tablet Review summarizes the basic specs that are important to review while choosing a tablet. If you are interested in the Chromo Inc., please read on for our opinion on this device.

Chromo Inc. 7 Tablet Features

The Chromo 7 inch tablet uses the Allwinner A13 Dual Core processor, running at 1.2 GHz. This is better than the single core versions, so this tablet runs smoother than some of the other tablets. The Allwinner processors run smoothly, and are becoming a common appenditure in lower priced tablets. Reviews of this tablet indicate that it is not sluggish like some of the others, so the processing power is not of much concern.

The graphics quality is like any other tablet of $50. Many are happy with the graphics, but you may find that it lacks the crispness of the higher end tablets. If you are buying this one for your kids, or simply want a low cost alternative to a tablet for yourself, the graphics in this one should be sufficient.

The Chromo 7 inch has a 4GB hard drive, and is expandable to 32GB with a microSD card. This expandability is nice to have if you plan to install a lot of apps from Google Play.

The battery life on this tablet is around 3 hours of continuous play. You may find this a bit short if you are used to higher end tablets and devices. If battery life is of concern to youIf you, we suggest that you take a look at our Neutab N7 Review. The Neutab N7 offers 6 hours of continuous play for only $55 on Amazon.

This tablet only weighs 0.6 pounds, which is extremely light! Even the Fonesco Ultrathin tablet is heavier than this one! This will help prevent your child’s hands from getting tired and dropping the tablet, thus helping to prevent damage.

The Chromo Inch 7 tablet runs on the Android 4.1.3 interface. This is one of the latest versions as of this writing. There will be more and later versions can be installed. With Android, you will have access to the entire Google Play library. Google Play comes preloaded on this tablet. The Chromo is also compatible with Twitter, Facebook, Netflix, YouTube, and the ever popular Angry Birds!

The Verdict

The Chromo Inc 7 inch tablet is fairly decent for the price of $50 on Amazon. It has gone down considerably in price since it was first released. You will find that it has decent reviews and nice specs, but if you are looking for an even better tablet for the price of $50, we suggest that you consider the Neutab N7 tablet.
